The squealching brakes at the beginning start off with a >.o notion and honestly made me do that. I'm wondering if that is when the land has dried up or the realization of the problem which further escalates? It seems to start off in tumoil, then go to serene. What was your thinking behind that?

I really like the progression of the symphony and the elements you put into it. It seems to work very well and the Choir was a nice touch. But at times I'm feeling lost with all the solo instruments carried in the song. Are these chapters in a book? They feel like forbearing signs which lead into what they tell about.

Over all, it sounds like I am reading a book through my ears and I enjoy your new works very much. Thank you. :)

Thank ya! The start has some intense electro-screeching effects to show the barren parts. There's actually loads of them on the keyboards, and I programmed some of them. And yeah, it gradually fades, like a lifting fog so it moves to the more "beautiful landscape" feel. The solo instrument, like the violin, does it's part, then plays a counter melody with the main orchestra, kinda like splitting paths and what not. It's an overall "Theme", but I would like to go back and do some of the elements to the story in more detail. :>

AHHHHHhh! Ok! I get what you're saying then. Yeah that is what I was thinking when I listened to it the fourth time is its like we're traveling and starting to see patches of the waste here and there. The start of the story could be the electro squeal when we first notice it, but then it goes away as we keep going. Then it becomes worse and worse. Sort of like a skin injury that is not tended to.

Fifth Time:
Over all the tonal value of the piece has many rifts and valleys. It seems like right off we are dropped from some where onto flat/flowy fragile ground where it gently flows upwards and down wards. The fragility we see is very temperamental until we misstep slide down an icy sheet unable to stop no matter how much we try which delivers us into the badlands. This has its moments as we keep going. There is hot dry landscape as presented by the... Baratone/tymphany mix. It worsens until there is a internal fight for the land 'within us' with trying to get out of it until we have our saving grace and are able to climb back out of our hole we have dug through... roots of trees/plants? That are starting to come back after we learned. But the damage has already been done, yet we are forgiven through grace? And the land is now still fragile but we respect it more.

Am I correct in my thinking?

This is amazingly beautiful and haunting. It has a very epic feel to it as though the story is only beginning to unfold. The violin work is lovely--between that and the soaring melody of the piano...just wow.
I love how it completely switches moods at 2:16--I can get such brilliant pictures in my mind from the 'prologue'-ey bits in the description.

I am not sure there are any accurate or worthy words that I could string together to describe how "Myre" and "Yria's Lament" felt like. These two songs are on a whole other level of near inhuman beauty. Every second glides so smoothly through to the next. It's like being at home and then suddenly, without even noticing, you've been sifted to an entirely different plane of existence! I'm laying it on a bit thick for a reason. You deserve it! Keep the reality-bending dream flowing!

This is made my day, so crisp so sweet and balanced like from a far sweet land.
