This is a story of an old legend that has been carried to our eldest until we were asked to carry it further.
Once, the land of Yrian was vast and green. Life spread all over the ground, living was easy because of what nature offered to us and so we took but never gave back.
Without any regret.
One day, the ground dried and split open. Mountains pushed away the trees and there was no space for the greens anymore but that was so long ago that even this part of the legend is vanishing into the sparse ground; of this land, threatening to disappear forever.
Today, dust and silence remains.
Who will carry on seeking for what we almost forgot?
Who will begin a journey that could change the life of all?Part of a collaboration, the original soundtrack for the character "Myre" for
Alector Quite a dark desolate world, where a character goes out in search of a long lost civilisation. But the lands are still ravaged by war. I got some additional inspiration from Pan's Labyrinth and also some of the OST from Fallout New Vegas!

I hope we will have more collabs like this in the future.
You're truly a talent. *bows before you*
You are some musician! Not even the pros would accomplish such an epic work!
I also want your VSTi; such a brilliantly rich ensemble of sounds! It's just fantastic!
I can definitely hear the Pan's Labyrinth influence in the first part. It's perfect.
I love it so much!
MOAR!MOAR!MOAR!
Can I use this song as my ringtones on my mobile?
The squealching brakes at the beginning start off with a >.o notion and honestly made me do that. I'm wondering if that is when the land has dried up or the realization of the problem which further escalates? It seems to start off in tumoil, then go to serene. What was your thinking behind that?
I really like the progression of the symphony and the elements you put into it. It seems to work very well and the Choir was a nice touch. But at times I'm feeling lost with all the solo instruments carried in the song. Are these chapters in a book? They feel like forbearing signs which lead into what they tell about.
Over all, it sounds like I am reading a book through my ears and I enjoy your new works very much. Thank you. :)
Kudo's to FoxCall too, lovely work you guys are making me want to get back to strings.
Fifth Time:
Over all the tonal value of the piece has many rifts and valleys. It seems like right off we are dropped from some where onto flat/flowy fragile ground where it gently flows upwards and down wards. The fragility we see is very temperamental until we misstep slide down an icy sheet unable to stop no matter how much we try which delivers us into the badlands. This has its moments as we keep going. There is hot dry landscape as presented by the... Baratone/tymphany mix. It worsens until there is a internal fight for the land 'within us' with trying to get out of it until we have our saving grace and are able to climb back out of our hole we have dug through... roots of trees/plants? That are starting to come back after we learned. But the damage has already been done, yet we are forgiven through grace? And the land is now still fragile but we respect it more.
Am I correct in my thinking?
May I ask which orchestral library you're using?
*is lost for words*
umm
wow just awesome and beautiful and amazing
instant +fav
Goes perfectly with the story there, this could easily be in any motion picture.
Absolutely stunning. I love your work.
Great music, yo. It's awesome you put this whole thing together without taking chunks from movie scores. Can I use this sometime in a video?
I love how it completely switches moods at 2:16--I can get such brilliant pictures in my mind from the 'prologue'-ey bits in the description.
Brilliant work. +fave
Great work Champ.
On second thoughts, don't.
I am -blown away- by the kind of talents we have here on FA. Honestly, one of the best parts of your posts is being introduced to the musicians, singers, and artists you collaborate with.
Mind if use this as part of an unofficial soundtrack for mah story? :3
Why haven't I faved all of your music yet? XD
V.
I imagine that fitting perfectly! you are so very talented
I it
In the beginning, I thought it was a normal piece like the other ones you've made. But then everything changed when I reached the build and my whole body shivered in excitement!
Congratulations!
I think this, amongst others of yours, can classify as one n.n
I'm a real sucker for this sort of music, and so well executed it is too!
If there's anything that I could say is that I hoped for the eerie intro to be longer!
You are too much to tell in words.
I do not know the words to describe it, it's so indescribable good! I really love how it turns from this smooth beautiness into an epic piece, just awesome!
Alector was right, you guys are very gifted musicians.
Keep up the astonishing work :3
I'm truly amazed.
Is there any way to get this song so I can listen it on my laptop?
I love the ocarina and the brass section!
It's nice to see such beautiful music and stories like this coming from the fandom.
This is certainly a breath of fresh air, and a song that could be heard again and again and never loose that tranquil, yet eerie, and epic feeling whenever I listen to it.
From one musician (and fox) to another, this song is simply amazing.
Very nice.
I would love to be able to hear it when I'm drawing! It's a great source of inspiration!
This is a masterpiece.
This is up there with great compositions by masters, with the best metal, pop, rock, techno and classical music I have, it is something I can't help from treasuring from time to time; it's something that gives me an urge to listen, to replay it, to dive myself in the wonder of its melody. I can't leave it alone too long, my heart would feel lonely.
You have created something beautiful.
Thank you very much for this inspiration.
on an unrelated tangent, sorry I haven't gotten a chance to draw anything for you yet - I got side tracked by a lot of things but, that's no excuse. so please accept my sincere apologies.
I won't make anything in time for your new album that's coming out, but I do wish to involve myself more in some projects this year rather than just doing commissions, so if there's anything I can do for you, please let me know.
hard to let go and listen to something else
Out of curiosity, how long does it take for a piece like this to go from initial concept to final version?
can I use this song for a video on youtube? where Im showing my drawings, in that video.
I give you all the credit for the song and I will at a link to this page
Glad real music still exists.
Definitely a "hero on a long difficult journey of peril" kind of music.
Truly epic!!
Super-stylized watercolor brushstroke stuffs.......... So nifty! *Foxy runs in circles excited by the idea of your beautiful arts turned into motion!*
