I mean she stated that the whole reason she was turned into a Djinn to begin with was her big affinity with magic, so wouldn't surprise me if after she got back to her mortal form at the end of the first 'Wishes', she still has her affinity, just can't pull off magic as easily as she could as a Djinn
*shrugs* I don't understand people vacationing in hot climatas. True, what I define as hot is a little different from the norm and I don't chase the cold, but still.

She's being such a miserable bitch. The man she loves is trying his fuckin best on their HONEYMOON taking her somewhere that's obviously important to him. I get that the cold can be awful, and fuck even having a cold is pretty terrible, but she obviously fucking trusts him because he saved her from the lamp and she can't just give him the benefit of the fuckin doubt?

2) she got mortal again recently, she probably didn't feel hot and cold anymore nor got sick in centuries so it must be 1000 times more hellish than it would be for us

Real people aren't always loving and understanding and wonderful 100% of the time. They have their crabby moments, especially when things aren't going right, they're cold, tired, and hungry, and don't really want to be where they are doing what they're doing. This is a very realistic dynamic to me.
And as others have pointed out, she's being overwhelmed by her new mortality. She's probably feeling very useless right now. And it's somehow HIS fault she's like this.

Whell I doubt shes thought it to herself but he IS directly responsible for her being made of non magical meat again,Could be a subconscious resentment coming out while shes experiencing things that she long forgotten(A bit of a case of the grass always being greener on the other side).
I went and read the first story in this series (I'd read Wishes 2 already) and thought, "setting a djinn free may seem like a noble gesture, but now she's as helpless as a newborn baby in a world she's forgotten, and that's forgotten her." While I was glad he took responsibility for her, I felt sad for her.
