It's no picnic being an Underling, but it's not exactly as big an improvement as some would think being a Freedom Fighter either. Your only weapons are what you can salvage or build from ruined machines of old, you don't get the fancy walls and high-tech traps Underlings have to keep the Xeno monsters away from your camp, and Underlings, for all the corners their corporation cuts, can get the better of you once in a while. At least these pair of scouts aren't harmed, just humiliated and having a much more literal eternal struggle than some of their number...

...if only because this is a looped GIF, so they'll quite literally eternally struggle~

This is actually a, technically, year old animation test. See, I first did back in 2021 for getting a feel for my software, Krita, as well as to test my own skills and how much I could do on my own without having to get another animator involved as I want to be as hands-on as possible in this project... and then, silly me, after completing the bun and half-completing the stag's pencil work, I kind of forgot about it when I was doing a lot of rearranging. What can I say but "Oops"? When I found the old files, I decided to actually get my ass in gear and finish it. It went by quicker than expected, and wouldn't you know it, now it's finally ready (that also may be why the stag looks a bit better than the bun; I experimented with a lot more brushes for him). Even some parts I dreaded, like the background, (hand-drawing each frame, no biggie; painting a still image, horrifying as all hell) I found amazingly fun and easier than I expected to do!
