For Thursday_Prompt
Edit July 31, 2022: Changed the format, indenting when starting sub-paragraphs and dialogue. Also polished up a few details and grammar.
Their prompt this week: arrangement. I wanted to do something Yu-Gi-Oh-related, and for a good reason. I had a few ideas for it. First, I thought about the struggle of organizing cards, decks, and collectibles. I then considered Kaiba hosting a new tournament; I could've showcased him having burnout with it. I could have also had new characters in a generic tournament. Instead, I went with a new crossover fanfiction. In a follow-up to "Chaos in His Heart", a short story I also did for the group, I bring in two characters that have been duelling the "Yu-Gi-Oh! G/X" roster, except they've grown up, but they're still into the game.
RIP Kazuki Takahashi. Thank you for creating the anime of my obsession, along with the characters that I would connect to. I still remember the original series and G/X fondly. I also enjoyed 5 D's. You made my and thousands of other people's childhood. You will be missed.

this story so reminds me of something that touched my heart... a young 'special' fellow was in the grocery story parking lot, apparently sent to collect the carts. He had a deck of cards and asked me if I played Yu-Gi-Oh. I thanked him for asking, but admitted not playing. I still smile thinking about him.
I enjoyed your story...
