Chuong: Luong told me to not mindlessly obey him so I'm assuming you tell your fellow Americans the same way.
Zax: Of course. Isn't your country still authoritarian though?
Chuong: Slightly less than Singapore to say the least. Remember, in Vietnam, Confucian ideology is still strong there and that we act for others than we do for ourselves. You Americans act for yourselves in promoting individualism. I'm sure Leo supports that part of America right?
Zax: Individualism, right to free speech and self-expression, right to not having one's rights from being breached by the government, yes he supports those parts too in America.

Leo: That's exactly what I told them, Moon Moon. It was frustrating because I felt they weren't listening, but the reality was that it showed just how overpowering CNG could be. And yes, I promote individualism.
Levi: Different cultures have different approaches. Canada, for instance, has a history of valuing society over the individual, but the way we're running the country now, we also promote those things.
