The human way down there at the bottom, despite what it looks like here? NOT about to get pounced, and this certainly isn't the adjador home planet either. Part of the uplift process with the adjador involves giving them the chance to go out and see alien worlds, should they so desire, and Veriliya has took them up on that offer and went a step further to help out the Exploration Corps for a time, so here she under the light of a distant star at the side of someone else finding what hides beyond the next horizon.
