Another excerpt from my this year's Nano. Chapter Four: "Super Effective"

The Earth Sage is missing, and rumors are there's a strange and deadly beast roaming the woods, known only as a "Katcham". Mother fears for her son Arlex, and took it upon herself to locate the Water Sanctuary.

In this chapter, Arlex fights a three-on-one Duel against an acolyte of the Water Sanctuary. But to Arlex's small size, the water-type Varea is far stronger than she looks. This isn't a fight to the death, but does he even stand a chance?

PARTY MEMBERS:
Arlex - A young Treecko with some battle experience.
Mother - His mother is a swift Sceptile.
Father - His father is a fiery Charizard, but is currently elsewhere.
