RECAP:
Previously, Arlex and Rae defeated a Vaporeon at the Water Sanctuary and received her blessing for their efforts. However, Arlex's mother is suddenly missing, and a Noctowl reports that she was captured by a beast known only as a "Katcham". Father took off in hot pursuit, only to be found critically wounded when Arlex catches up. Apparently the Katcham took him out, burying him in a pile of rocks. So what do they do next?

PARTY MEMBERS:
Arlex - A young Treecko.
Mother - Arlex's mom is a powerful Sceptile, but is currently MIA and believed to be held against her will by the Katcham.
Father - Arlex's father is a strong Charizard with powerful flames.
Rae - An eager young Shinx raised as an orphan in the Water Sanctuary.
(Noctowl) - He pursued after Father, allowing Arlex and Rae to follow him on the ground. He still doesn't let anyone call him by name.
