Book 1: The Fear Ripper
Chapter 1: The Birth of Evil
Part 3: The balance of the world
"So it's decided friends! So we form 'The Order of Ignitus'!" Resumed Flame, looking at Ashes who was very happy, under the affected look of Cynder with whom she approached.
Everyone looked at each other, as if for the first time they were all related, even though they had been through a similar situation before when Flame hatched the plan to counter the two elders. Ignitus advanced towards them while Flame descended from the edge of the basin.
"You are destined to do great things again, young heroes. For now, rest and enjoy the warm welcome that awaits you in Warfang."
Spyro walked over to Ignitus with a few tears in his eyes and rested his head on his chest.
"Ignitus, go... Will we see each other again in less troubled times?" Spyro asked feverishly, sitting down in front of him. The big blue dragon smiled at him tenderly and put a wing on his back under the tender gaze of Flame who understood better why Spyro saw him as a father.
"I never left you even though you never saw me Spyro. Never give up hope. But I promise you and your friends can come back to his house. You will never be alone." he said, leaning on the muzzle on top of the purple dragon's skull.
The group began to get very tired, and Spyro lay against Ignitus, while Flame snuggled up against the side of her love who grabbed him to stick him to him. The three dragons went to bed after Cynder exchanged a greeting look with Ignitus. Ashes felt a large wing land on his back and saw that it was Cynder's who already had his eyes closed. The smallest of the dragons blushed at this attention by hiding his face in one of his wings, under the tender gaze of Ember who fell asleep in turn.
They all woke up in their respective places in the Cheetah shelters. A little muddy, Spyro stood up followed by Flame.
"Flamy, how are you my love?" Spyro asked worriedly looking at his red dragon love.
It was the first time that Flame had been summoned by the chronicler and it could cloud her mind. The red dragon straightened up to sit looking at Spyro.
"Mhm... Spyro... What happened? I feel rested, but that's how it was..." Flame started, but flashes came back to her mind, flashes like real memories and not like a dream.
"The Chronicler! Ignitus! Creature of Fear! I remember!" Flame resumed looking at Spyro.
" Impressive ! It took me a few minutes to remember my first spiritual summons to the Chronicler! replied his purple companion.
Flame stood a little hard, a little muddy, but Spyro placed his head under his love's chin to hold him upright, which made the red dragon purr. He waited to be stabilized to slide his head under Flame's chin, but their cheeks stuck together and started rubbing their faces as they closed their eyes.
The two lovers backed up and held each other until their looks reminded them of something.
"Girls !" They said at the same time before rushing outside to get to the shelter of the three dragons.
Cynder stood in front of the entrance, holding Ember on one wing and Ashes on the other. The two smaller dragons held their heads very muddy, like the day after a party that was a little too festive.
Spyro went to take care of Ashes, while Flame helped her big sister Ember to allow her to take a few steps.
"Thank you little brother... Don't worry it will pass." Ember reassured, nudging Flame.
Ashes was helped by Cynder and Spyro, her two idols, a situation that made her blush and shyly thank them.
With the group reunited in the "real world", they took a moment to discuss and reminisce about the events of that night with Ignitus, the new chronicler, their new affinity with him as an elite hero, the new threat of this creature of fear.
"According to Ignitus, this creature, this dragon, or whatever, had resurrected ancient enemies in Spyro. How did he do it, and why focus on the forces of evil?" Asked the young dragon and friend of Ember, Ashes.
"Ignitus told us that he was not from the world of the living, that's why he couldn't find any books about this dragon. Maybe that's what allows him to have this kind of power. " Flame replied intelligently. Spyro nudged him, impressed by his sense of deduction.
" Impressive ! And if I didn't know you, I'd say you have some idea of how he chooses his targets. Observed Spyro watching his mate who was blushing.
"That's...That's what I was thinking. Maybe...the forces of evil are never afraid..." Beginning Flame
"Just need to know whether to take." Cynder laughed a little, to everyone's amusement with his rebellious nature.
"Hmmm.. maybe by instilling fear in his evil beings, their fear becomes more...precious?" Resumed Flame under the facial astonishment of his friends
"Well done little brother! Now the last question is: What's the use of harvesting fear?" Ember replied, resting one of her front paws on her chin.
"He's not harvesting it for himself. Either it's for someone else or it's for a ritual." Director Cynder replied.
"What ???" Everyone retorted looking at her.
"This dragon has a red channeling crystal, like the ones I used before..." She said, lowering her head slightly, but a flick of Ashes's muzzle on her side made her smile again.
"And this crystal is different from a life crystal in our world." A voice answered behind the group, a familiar voice.
Everyone turned around and saw Hunter in the frame of the access to their shelters.
How did he know?
"Hunter? How do you know...?" Asked Flame surprised.
"The great dragon, and new Chronicler, Ignitus, summoned me to his residence to follow you. He explained everything to me and asked me to watch over you and help you in your quest. Something I accepted without hesitation my friends."
They looked at Hunter in his outfit, his bow and arrows on his back, ready for adventure. Flame, Ember, and Ashes' eyes twinkled at the sight of another hero ready to fight.
"Let's go tell Chief Meadow. Maybe he can help us too in our investigation to find out who this dragon of fear is." Noticed Flame.
"Very wise decision my friend Flame." Hunter replied looking at him. Spyro nudged him proudly.
The group emerged from their shelters and headed for the village chief's hut. The dragons waited outside as the leader's second in command, Hunter, entered to speak to Meadow. After a few minutes, the two Cheetahs came out.
"Hello fellow dragons!" Meadow greeted, followed by an annoyed hum.
"...and dragonfly." He resumed while Sparx smiled.
"Hunter explained everything to me. Praise the elders for honoring Ignitus with being the dragon deserving of the title of new Chronicler. But let's get back to more serious matters. A partially dragon-like creature dressed in black and masked seizes fear?
"That's right, Chief Meadow. And according to Ignitus, our investigation brings us to Warfang. Maybe he has an idea of people who could help us." Responded Flame, more and more sure of himself as "leader" of the order of Ignitus.
He hadn't chosen him, but his friends saw in him someone cunning and trustworthy to leave the responsibility to him despite still being young and slightly short compared to his love Spyro, Cynder or his big sister Ember.
"Chief Meadow, I ask to be able to guide them to Warfang, after 3 other sages, and help them in this quest." Hunter asked looking at the village chief who smiled at him.
“I expected no less from you Hunter. Of course you have my blessing. have to do. Keep us posted on your findings. We'll do the same if we have any information." Meadow asked looking at the group.
An eagle cry was heard, as Hunter waved his arm in the air and an eagle landed on his arm as Flame Ember and Ashes watched in awe. Spyro and Cynder had already seen Hunter's winged partner when they were released from hibernation.
"Good to see you again my friend. What's the news from Warfang?" Hunter asked his partner.
The bird of prey emitted more or less loud cries, more or less long, sometimes chirping. Once he was done, Hunter frowned a little.
"Thank you my friend. Go to Warfang. Tell the sages I'm coming with Spyro, Cynder Sparx and their friends." The eagle flew away with a high-pitched cry. The group looked at Hunter.
"What's going on Hunter?" Ember asked, both fascinated by her bond with the eagle, and worried about what's going on in Warfang.
"Warfang is rebuilding, whether its walls and its buildings or the heart of its people. Since the disappearance of Ignitus, a vacuum has been created despite the remarkable care of the sage of the land Terrador. But the discord and the fear rebounds, and it will continue until another fire sage is appointed, and that is not a role one chooses lightly. You know that better than anyone, Spyro." Hunter replied as everyone turned to Spyro.
"Why is that Spyro?" Asked Flame looking at the tall purple dragon who turned to him and rested his head against his love who began to blush at his touch.
"Flamy...You should know that when Cynder and I defeated Malefor, and returned victorious to Warfang despite Ignitus' disappearance, many wanted me to take over the role of the fire sage. always refused and thought I was behind me. I didn't think it would matter that much." Spyro replied looking at the whole group and hugging Flame against him.
"But let's just say that Ignitus is the new chronicler and he himself chooses the person who could be the new fire sage." Flame retorted to Spyro and Hunter.
"In theory, this is a good idea given our luck that Ignitus is still with us. But unfortunately, the great dragon Ignitus is on a dimensional plane where he can oversee the balance of forces in this world, balance of which he is responsible. If the evil becomes too serious, Ignitus can intervene to help us. Which he did by calling you to him. However, there is a price. The more people who knew him will be that he is "alive", the more Ignitus will be personally involved in their spells and their fates catmr many are those he has known, and who have known him. And this could have serious consequences on the balance of the world." Hunter explained, crossing his arms.
"Basically, we shouldn't let you know who the new columnist is?" Cynder summed up, huffing his nostrils.
"Exactly Cynder. Even though I say it reluctantly, we must keep this secret with whomever we deem capable of helping us uncover who this dragon of fear is, and his purpose. However, gathering heroes at the Ignitus' name does not upset the balance of the world. Your hero group name, "Ignitus's Order" will bring hope to the hearts of the people of Warfang!" Hunter continued, fixing the group with a look filled with hope and courage.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go to Warfang, friends!" Asked Ashes who had remained silent but attentive while Sparx buzzed as he responded in his own way to the young dragon.
"Seeing you united and determined also fills my heart with hope. I will put my best men on the trail of this dragon of fear without making him take any risks. You have my word my dragon friends... and dragonfly! Hunter, come back to us alive." Meadow asked Hunter, putting his hands on the shoulders of his second and friend.
"I'll be careful Chief Meadow!" Hunter replied respectfully, doing the same with his hands.
The two Cheetah friends stared at each other and then bowed their heads to each other, having mutual respect. Meadow by past deeds, heroism and determination of his second, and Hunter by wise decisions and listening to Meadow.
After some preparation, the group left the Cheetahs village with the greetings of its inhabitants, and they flew over the forests that separated them from the walls of Warfang. it was the forest the Cheetahs had taken to create a surprise attack on the armies of Malefor, and join the war to save Warfang, the city of dragons.
Hunter had borrowed the voice of walking, for his speed was equal to the flight of adolescent dragons.
"Why didn't you offer to ride on the back of one of you two?" Asked Ashes innocently looking at the 2 biggest dragons, Spyro and Cynder. They began to smile as they looked at the dragon.
"Hunter has far too much respect for dragons to ask for, nor accept, such transportation." First replied Cynder who had been around the cheetah enough to know him, and had even earned the respect of the dragon, having been one of the first to trust Cynder, even if it was through the trust of Ignitus.
"And then Hunter is just as fast with his feline side, he's incredibly agile." Spyro resumed.
Cynder looked at the dragon with whom she had the most affinity compared to the others in the group. Ashes noticed the purple/black strap's gaze, which made her stare straight ahead, blushing. Cynder laughed a little and gave her a little lick on the cheek, which made the smaller strap sped up a bit to hide her redness, which made Cynder laugh even more, who found her too cute with all her innocence despite her strong character when attacking his friends.
Spyro and Flame looked at each other smiling because they felt like they saw each other seeing this scene between Cynder and Ashes. Ember was still in her quiet and alone corner, Flame clung to her a little to comfort her so that she didn't feel neglected. Between the moments of Flame and Spyro, and now Cynder who was developing some bonds with Ashes that weren't wrong. She smiled innocently at her little brother.
"How are you, little brother?" she asked Flame which was against his side.
"Yeah, but you big sister? I notice your looks you know. You'll find one, or a girlfriend, I'm sure." Flame replied, licking Ember's face during their flight.
"Ho you know on our island, a lot of males run after me. I'm the one who's not interested." She said smiling at him because his words touched her.
"And do you have any idea what you'll do if you're interested in a dragon?" Flame asked him again seeing that his orientation was really turned towards the male sex.
"I... I... I will see little brother then!" She dodged smiling at him.
Flame understood at that moment that Ember does not expect a dragon to interest her, except for another possible hero like Spyro for whom she had almost orchestrated a relationship. This saddened him and made him hope with all his heart that a male would capsize his heart, as much as Spyro made that of the red and yellow dragon capsize.
After more than 10 minutes of flight, the end of the forest was in sight and further towards the horizon, a huge city stretched as far as the eye could see. A few destroyed structures far away on the plains in front of Warfang were either burned or taken down by dragons and smaller creatures that must have been moles. The group landed after the forest, while Hunter was already there, observing the city from the top of a tree and descended to join the group who were speechless at the sight of Warfang.
"This is..." Ashes began, unable to take his eyes off the great dragon city.
"Yes, it's Warfang." Cynder confirmed, looking at the strap. She smiled at him and put one of her big wings on Ashes who started to blush.
The group advanced towards the city, guided by Hunter, walking calmly so they could admire the walls being rebuilt by moles and dragons, working paw in claw. Some stopped by seeing the duo Spyro and Cynder, the famous two heroes who saved the world. Murmurs were heard among the workers who admired them. Flame realized the important roles Spyro and Cynder had played in saving the world.
The looks that turned towards the group reminded Flame of the moment when he had to talk about his exploits by having stopped the plan of the two elders. The red dragon hid a little against his love who smiled at him and put a wing on him.
"Don't worry Flamy darling, there was already a party for Cynder and me." Spyro reassured his love who sighed in relief, not getting used to the idea of being a hero.
"But I may present the dragon of my heart to everyone." He resumed, laughing.
"Ha no, you won't get me a second time!" Bronked Flame blushing, seeing herself again on a stage with Spyro who was giving details of Flame's story to enhance his companion who had become a hero.
Seeing the cute head of the red dragon of his heart, Spyro put his head on Flame's head to calm her in her neck while walking carefully. The smaller dragon blushed and closed his eyes, letting his little friend's footsteps guide him.
"Here we go folks. The Gates of Warfang."
The two lovers hadn't realized that they were already passing through the huge open doors of the city of dragons, while a loud thud sounded, surprising the group. It was a horn that alerted all Warfang to their arrival. The noise was so loud that it could reach the temple of the sages placed in the center of the city. All the workers stopped to follow the troop of heroes, happy to see Spyro and Cynder again, also wondering who the other dragons were.
Still escorted by Hunter who led the way, Flame, Ember and Ashes who had never come admired the streets of Warfang. There were plenty of buildings to rebuild, but many were helping each other and a few businesses were resuming their business. Forges emitted heat, pastries gave off a good smell, and dragonets ran playing in the streets under the supervision of a few dragons in armor who circulated in the streets. A very active city despite the recent war. The crowd following the group of heroes grew denser and denser as Hunter led them straight into the heart of Warfang where the Temple of the Sages was located.

Oh my god !
Thank you very much for your comment so touching and rich in creative remarks! I am very happy that you like it! But beware, this is not the official sequel.
Rest assured, there will be no nsfw in my story, already part respect for CarlMinez whom I admire a lot, and also for young readers. There will be scenes like this but that will be it.
Yes, their previous adventure in Ember and Flame made them evolve a lot at the end of Carl's story and I wanted to continue this evolution. ☺️
Now that they are in a group and very united, I indeed put my personal touch to give a general vision of what each character thinks and feels.
Ho this is only the beginning what happens between Cynder and Ashes. I say no more. 😁
I'm sorry for the confusing words. I'm French and I'm not very good in English. I therefore use translate.google a lot and I read as best I can. I would pay more attention! promise! 🙏
Thank you again for your very touching comment! 😭❤️💙
I put all my heart into it to please Carl' and readers like you! I hope you enjoy the next sequel! :3
