An innocent bystander attempts a daring escape. Though her former employers try to stop her, her cousin eventually takes her side in the ensuing escape. This is my side of a trade between me and DiamondGirlYT from ToyHouse!Escape from the BeachAfter struggling for a bit in her restraints, Binsa finally manages to maneuver herself so that she is able to gnaw on the ropes binding her arms and legs to the chair she was tied up to. Finally, she manages to break herself free and stand up.
The lithe vixen rubs her sore arms and wrists, gazing at her own limbs in sorrow. What had she done to deserve this? She didn't know and she isn't staying long to find out, so she begins to leave… if she was able to.
The moment Binsa takes her first step in attempting to walk…
*WHUMP!*"Ooogghhh! Okay, that hurts…! Gah, I can barely feel my limbs!" Binsa complains to herself while she tries to pick herself up off the ground. There is only little success where she finds herself plopping down on the floor again.
"Nrkh! Ack!" The vixen lies still, waiting to catch her breath so she can make another attempt to ride up again. Once Binsa finally catches her breath, she squeaks a light groan and slowly picks herself up off the ground, standing up straight with wobbly knees.
"I shouldn't have taken this profession; I really shouldn't have. Now everyone's gonna have my head! I need to escape, and fast before they see me!" Binsa whimpers in slight fear. The fox could barely move due to being tied up for hours, and when she finally broke free, her limbs were just numb.
Now that Binsa has freed herself, she now has a new problem to deal with; ever since she wanted out with the Faded Eyes, she's been starting a jailbreak mission. This didn't go so well because of her capture; now that she's no longer part of the group, but also attempting a prison break, she is #1 on their Most Wanted list.
A slow tingling sensation courses along her body from the blood flow rushing back into circulation throughout her limbs. Though she doesn't scream outwardly, her internal distress and her facial expression is enough to merit what's going on with her.
Though she relaxes from her grimacing, Binsa mumbles softly, "I hope Glare is doing okay; who knows, she will probably try and kill me too."
While Binsa shakily pushes herself up to her feet, the vixen almost teeters again, but this time, she uses the nearby wall for support. The moment the fox falls to the floor again could be her last.
While inching along the walls and approaching the doorway, Binsa slowly sticks her muzzle out, putting her face out the door to slowly glance around the hallway. So far, the coast is clear… for now.
After performing a coast sweep and being granted with the sight of an empty hallway, Binsa finally exits the room where she was being held captive and begins to walk her way along the hallway, making progress on her escape.
While wandering down the hallway, Binsa begins to take note of the empty hallway along the rooms she is passing by. From what she can remember of her former allies, the Faded Eyes usually have a limited number of rooms for different services and activities; one of these rooms happened to be an interrogation room, which she had just broken out of.
During her walk, Binsa comes to an intersection in the hallway. Being familiar with the place, she makes a right where the pathway leads her to an exit. Binsa continues down this way until she notices a room to her right. "Huh? This can't be the prison room. Unless…"
Taking a chance with her curiosity, Binsa peeks into the room and receives a frightening view of a prisoner tied up and trying to break free! The prisoner is a gray / white wolf whose arms are tied up, yet he is kicking his legs out as hard as he can. There is also a muzzle over him to keep him quiet, but his cries for help are muffled. Horrified, Binsa rushes inside to rescue the straggler. "Hang in there, I'm coming!"
The vixen immediately comes to the rescue, taking a quick moment to analyze the prisoner's bindings. The wolf's arms are tied behind him, bound to the chair he is sitting in and there is a muzzle covering his face. Just those two keeping the prisoner in place.
Binsa's blue eyes fall on the wolf's green eyes; he has a fearful expression on his face. To reassure him, Binsa informs him, "I'm gonna set you free. Hold still!"
Taking a position behind the wolf prisoner, Binsa gnaws on the ropes quickly, breaking them down. These take no effort to destroy since her sharp teeth are capable and sharp enough for the job. Rather, these rope restraints snap apart, similar to her own. Once these are taken care of, the fox removes the muzzle from the prisoner, allowing him to breathe and talk freely.
The prisoner, having been freed from his captivity, jumps up and is about to celebrate when Binsa grabs him and whispers a warning into his ear, "Whatever you do, do not make too much noise. Escape quickly and take an alternate route away from here."
The wolf nods and promptly departs, leaving behind his hero and his former bindings. Binsa also leaves the room, satisfied but also increasingly nervous. This recent rescue is sure to draw more attention to her, giving her less time to escape. With a higher chance of being tracked down now, Binsa has to be quick about her escape.
After freeing this recent prisoner and leaving the room, Binsa turns off the light and closes the door behind her, making sure to avoid suspicion. The empty chair will likely be discovered some other time.
The moment Binsa rounds a left corner is the moment she bumps into a taller figure, leading the vixen to step away and observe. Well, from both seeing and recognizing the figure, Binsa's blue eyes widen in fear more than elation. All she can squeak out is a low trembling name. "Glare…?"
"Hey! Watch where you're go– Binsa?" The moody wolfess snaps off at first until she finally recognizes who bumped into her. Glare was unaware of Binsa's being held captive until now.
Glare isn't too happy about seeing her cousin here. She hisses hotly at her, "Binsa, what the heck are you doing here? Haven't you caused enough trouble already?"
Binsa explains, "I'm not disclosing much, but I am getting out of here. And if you want to kill me right now, then go ahead. This assassin lifestyle is not what I wanted, so I am making my escape."
Glare just rolls her eyes, responding, "Whatever. If this isn't your kind of lifestyle, then why did you join in the first place?"
Binsa shakes her head. Raising her hands defensively, the vixen explains, "I didn't join the Faded Eyes, I rejected the invitation. You guys brought me here to die all because of what? A good deed or something?"
Glare smirked, drawing her scythe. With her weapon out, the wolfess circles her prey, proceeding to taunt her. "So, good deed, huh? What do you consider a good deed? A revenge killing? A prison break? What?"
Binsa remains calm and unaffected, though she begins to show signs of inner anxiety from seeing the weapon in Glare's hand. Her heart pounding, the vixen reasons, "Think about all of the innocent people you guys have burned and buried. If I must be a victim in this, so be it. But nothing's stopping me from what I'm doing."
"Then that figure that was rushing down the hallway…" Glare points out, leading Binsa to finish, " - was an innocent victim I rescued."
Glare stops circling her, leaving Binsa to turn and plead, "Glare, is this really what you want? Being a killer for your entire life? Do you want to throw away time with your family?"
"I chose this life because I had caretakers that were there for me! Don't lecture me on this family business mess!" An enraged Glare swings her weapon at Binsa, who quickly dodges it and slides under the wolfess before breaking into a run to escape.
Initially, Glare begins to give chase but when she rushes forward to pursue her, she freezes on the spot. Did Binsa's words strike a chord in her? Whatever the reason, Glare hesitated to chase her.
Though Glare finally moves and picks up the pace, she notices two other Fades Eyes members near the doorway and she commands, "Gather up your forces and follow me. I'm chasing after a target." In the background, a gray Mazda RX-8 passes by, leaving the building.
The two members nod and quickly leave while Glare shoots out the front door. Catching sight of the Mazda disappearing into the darkness, Glare snarls and rushes towards another vehicle: a silver Lexus IS300.
Racing away along Mission Beach, Binsa carefully keeps an eye on the rearview mirror and the road, taking care not to crash into anything during her escape. So far, Binsa has managed to keep herself alive for the time being. But thanks to her recent encounter with her cousin, the vixen has lost valuable time in making her escape. To make up for her escape time, Binsa begins pressing down on the accelerator more, speeding up slightly.
The 1.3L Rotary engine becomes more audible at first upon further acceleration, yet recedes when Binsa hits a higher cruising speed. The vixen tries to steady her cruising speed when a flash of white appears in the rearview mirror, picking up her attention. Half cautious, half intrigued, Binsa wonders, "What is that?"
The incoming vehicle in question is a dark gray Audi A3 3.2 Quattro. It is a second-generation Type-8P with its white headlights shining brightly. Unfortunately, this is one of the vehicles the Faded Eyes use in their fleet for transportation and chasing. And Binsa is about to receive one heck of a chase.
A second dark gray Audi A3 appears from behind the first one, merging to its right. But bringing up the rear farther down is a silver first-generation Lexus IS300, which is considerably slower than the A3. Could the IS300 and the RX-8 share equal durability?
Glare snarls aggressively at the RX-8, her expression darkening. The wolfess growls, "You won't be getting away that easily!"
Although Glare floors the accelerator, her vehicle of choice is already at top speed, which is temporarily the slowest car out of the other two. Yet Binsa's vehicle of choice, the RX-8 R3, is keeping a considerable gap between her and the pair of A3 cars chasing her.
At first, Binsa didn't know who these guys were but after spotting the drivers in each car, the vixen managed to put two and two together, so she eases up off the accelerator, applying the brakes to slow down but not too much. She's just devised a plan to ensure her successful escape.
While Glare keeps an eye on the decelerating RX-8, she watches her minions move in to surround and attack; one of the A3 vehicles swings to Binsa's left to get directly beside her while the other one slams the RX-8 from the right. But maneuvers like these are hard to maintain along a winding road. This is what these guys will learn the hard way.
"Eek!" Binsa receives a small shock of fright from being rammed by the A3 on her right. But after recovering quickly, the vixen suddenly slams on her brakes, cutting her speed drastically before darting onto the beach and racing along the sand. Though her assailants follow, the sand obscures their vision. And hidden in the sand cloud is a trap.
Too late! The assailants see a pair of red blinking lights right as a spike strip appears near their cars. They end up hitting the trap and spinning out, crashing into each other as a result. Only Glare remains in pursuit, shooting past the trap and the two wrecked A3 cars in the process; another dark gray vehicle follows behind Glare, revealed to be a Mitsubishi Eclipse GT.
Binsa begins to calm down upon emerging from the Beach shortcut, muttering to herself, "Well, that was the end of that. Now hopefully, I can disappear." Little did Binsa know how much of an effort she will have to put in her escape. This isn't gonna be easy.
Right as Binsa shoots along the remainder of Mission Beach, a new pair of headlights emerges in view behind her, closing in slowly. The vixen, upon seeing this new set of headlights charging in, grows frustrated. She groans in annoyance, "Aarrggghhh, What is it now..?!"
Suddenly, a red reticle takes form on the touch screen, alerting Binsa to an EMP lock-on. Squealing in horror, Binsa drops a Stun Mine from the rear of the R3 in hopes of deterring her new assailant!
*CLICK!*The Stun Mine is implanted firmly on the asphalt, its crackling electrifying rays ready to gobble up its latest victim and their electronics. Though the Mazda flies by while dropping the trap, the Eclipse barrels past, rolling right over the trap. Blue and green lines course throughout the car, causing it to break down completely. It also cancels out the EMP attack entirely, rendering it useless.
This only intensifies Glare's rage when she rides past the disabled Mitsubishi. But before the she-wolf can even bark out her mind, she receives a transmission from her headset. "Backup is on the way; should be arriving shortly."
"Well make sure it arrives on the double! We've got an escaped prisoner on our hands!" Glare demanded angrily.
The response comes back, "You should be seeing them in just a few seconds, ma'am. Keep your head on tight."
Glare raises her eyes up just in time to see two different dark gray vehicles emerge from behind a building and pick up the chase. The two new additions are: Audi A4 3.2 Quattro and Renault Clio V6.
During her heated escape, Binsa drops a pair of large spike strips to hinder her new assailants. But these traps fail; the A4 merely weaves around them to stay clear while the Clio slows down to avoid hitting the spikes, charging onto the incoming shoulder to go past them.
Though these spikes fail initially, Binsa isn't done yet. She knows her attackers are still coming after her, possibly with more recruits. Now on Sunset Drive along the Grand Ocean Coast, Binsa attempts a replica of the tactic she's done moments earlier, letting off the accelerator of the RX-8. Around this time, the buzzing from the A4 and the Clio become audible once they come into view behind the R3, and they are approaching fast!
'Wait for it…' Binsa keeps repeating this phrase to herself, letting her getaway car coast while her new opponents come closer. Then she makes her move when they attempt to sandwich her.
'Now!!!' Binsa puts her plan into motion by activating a powerful Shockwave to force her opponents away.
*KA-BLAM!*Both European vehicles skid out of control with crash results; the Clio V6 slams into a tunnel support beam while the A4 crashes into a guardrail. The vixen intensifies this by cutting to the left, merging off the main road and into the sandy trail outside the tunnel, T-boning the A4 to send it twirling into another guardrail. By the time Binsa merges back onto Sunset Drive, she's long gone from Glare, who was desperately trying to catch up and stay with her. Binsa manages to escape without further incident, leaving her a wide array of locations to travel to so she can lay low in.
~~~~~After a long drive, Binsa ducked underneath Coral Bay Drive to gain access to a safehouse to lie low in, which leaves her contemplating on what she can do next. After disabling 4 Faded Eyes vehicles and possibly killing numerous occupants in the process, the vixen had some pondering to do.
Binsa sighs while staring out the window of her safehouse. She could feel her eyelids fluttering, ready to close at any moment. Her adrenaline rush has worn off, leaving her a sleepy mess. Opening her mouth in a yawn, she covers her maw while closing it, exhaling, "Oh man, I need some sleep…"
Binsa wants to get some sleep so she can recharge, but the opportunity vanishes when she spots a familiar Lexus IS300 outside, the same silver XE10 that she made out during her escape. The sight of this familiar vehicle puts Binsa on high alert, snapping her out of her state. Her blue eyes puff up in fear with her whining, "Huh? But how did she find me?! I thought I was in the clear!"
"Navigation system. You're too obvious, cousin." Glare's sudden chilling arrival sparks fear in Binsa's heart. And with her scythe drawn, the female wolf enters inside, ready to put an end to the vixen.
"Glare, why are you doing this? Do you even care about how much effort I put into this? We're not enemies, I swear!" Binsa backs away, trembling while trying to reach her cousin and monitor her expression. Nothing but pure anger.
"You don't realize half of what you're doing, Binsa! You are nothing more than a threat to the organization; now you will be neutralized!" Right as Glare swings at Binsa, the vixen quickly evades and backs away again. Another swing comes Binsa's way and this time she ducks underneath before quickly crawling and attempting to run… only for the scythe to fly past her and cut her right ear in the process.
"AAH!!!" Binsa clutches her ear while Glare marches towards her, taking advantage of the vixen's temporary pause. The vixen screams out in a last whim, "IF YOU KILL ME NOW, YOU WILL HAVE NO FAMILY LEFT!!!"
At that moment, a flashback occurs in Glare's mind depicting her and Binsa, although younger, where they were often together. Though this flashback is only brief, it's enough to snap Glare out of her current state of mind.
Suspicious, the wolfess challenges the vixen, "No family left, huh? In case you forgot, Binsa, the entire Fryter family are assassins. Except you, of course."
Binsa shakes her head, stating, "I never wanted the assassin lifestyle. It's not for me and I don't like it. I've been wanting out ever since I settled in with the Chain Strikers. But ever since this whole rivalry thing started, I've tried distancing myself from them."
"Then that prisoner that ran out…" Putting two and two together, Glare realizes, "You didn't, didn't you?"
"If you still want to kill me, then go ahead. I'm only doing what's right." Binsa's resolve is clear and she simply closes her eyes, expecting a quick death.
The seconds tick by with intensity and yet, nothing happens. Binsa cracks open one eye to investigate when she is suddenly pulled forward in a tight hug by Glare. This throws Binsa by surprise, leaving her to wonder, "Glare? So you're not gonna kill me?"
Glare reveals with a grim smile, "I don't even know my real parents; I was adopted, rather. But you, there's something about you that I can quite put my finger on. We could be blood-related and don't even know it."
From this moment on, Glare's tendencies relax a bit and she is no longer hostile towards her cousin but rather in good relations with her. She squeezes Binsa again, to which the vixen squeaks, "Eek! My ear!"
Glare releases her, chuckling darkly. "It's only a minor wound, cousin. We can patch you up in no time though. You'll live."
"Yeah, but it stings, Glare! Haven't you been wounded before?" Binsa argues in return.
Glare snorted, "That's nothing compared to my near-death experience with that Starstream. She almost killed me - bashed my head in so hard you would think it would crumble." Seeing her vixen cousin flinch, the wolf adds, "Someone saved me, but I don't know who. If I do find him, I'll have a debt to repay. As for that rabbit, she's a loose end I'll have to tie up."
"Glare, you can't possibly be premeditiating a civil war! We don't need that right now; now after what's been happening!" Binsa squeaks in fear.
Glare just dismisses her cousin's concern with a dismissing wave of her hand, scoffing, "Pah! She's as good as dead to me. And if anyone tries to touch you again, they will be yoinked and dismembered."
Hearing this makes Binsa's stomach flop. Just the mental picture of it is enough to make her gag. Instead, she offers a safer alternative, "Why don't we just escape the assassin lifestyle together, without further bloodshed?"
Glare smirks at her cousin, taking her up on her offer. "I like that better, but if Gem comes after us, you know the saying regarding family, don't you?"
"I do. 'Blood is thicker than water' is it?" Binsa related.
Glare's dark smirk returns while she nods, remarking, "Yep. And it's gonna be one heck of a battle too. If StarStream appears, then I will personally take the first crack at tearing her apart."
"Glare! We promised no more bloodshed!" Binsa reminded her.
"Well if you had loose ends to tie up, would you take care of that or be haunted by the memories each time you see that particular person?" Glare retorts back, cross.
With no way to answer, Binsa changes the subject. "Let's just focus on getting patched up and escaping. That way we can make a new plan."
"Yeah, let's just hope no pigs cross our paths." Glare snorted.
Binsa smiled while assuring her, "I got that covered. Plus, I can add some upgrades to your car to make it faster and more durable."
