One the six characters that I have in list, and my very first one to create during my fandom in Dragonball Z.

Felix is one of the first and only rare breed of the Saiyan race (technically being a half-Saiyan, half-Feline). He was genetically created for fighting purposes and planet conquering. Though he showed amazing results in training progress, the only that kept him from being an "actual" Saiyan was his unwillingness to take a life of someone without a rightful cause. As a result, he was assigned to countinue his training on a hazardous planet, hoping to learn the difference of "to kill or be killed". Unfortunately, the space pod he was in was knocked off course after passing through and asteroid feild. Ever since, his trainers considered him "dead".

Pretty much, his personality is close to Vegeta, but with a heart and without being cocked up in Saiyan pride. Cold-hearted and stubborn at first, but after a few days of adjusting, he can show a bit of kindess.
