Training pants had to be one of the dirtiest tricks in the parental arsenal when I was growing up. They looked like they would do the job, but the only thing they did well was leak and get cold.

Surprisingly, there wasn't any teasing for this incident. It didn't matter, though- I was so embarrassed I thought I was going to die. I thought for sure everyone was going to be talking about my putting on a diaper, but aside from a few laughs, and my wet pajamas, nothing else came of it.
I didn't get to keep the pants, though… :(
