Tin grew up in the small desert town of Cattle Ridge with his mother, Golden Star. He never knew his father, but Mama always told him stories about how his daddy was some big hero who gave his life protecting the innocent. Aspiring to be as great a hero as his daddy some day, Tin works hard under the guidance of the town's sheriff, Buckwheat, as a deputy in order to protect his home from outlaws, troublemakers, and the like. He's energetic and seemingly fearless, all too willing to fly headlong into danger in order to defend his town.
