The resin part remids me somewhat of action figures in the plastic boxing formed towards their shape. Anyways, I am one who tends to treat such situations more from a cartoonish standpoint liking to imagine that they are likely much more stabilized and can relax despite being in a fixed position.
My Totodile mascot Shiny would likely not mind being on display likely preferring being in a nice spot where he can watch himself in a mirror and folks. I imagine as a fountain statue doing a cute dance pose would be perfect for the lil guy, maybe in the shopping center's plaza. Though likely would imagine it that kinda like in "night at the Museum" he's having fun dressing up after the shopping center closes. Would be a fun way to spend the summer vacations. X3

Yeah! I took inspiration from Disney's multi plane camera, which they used to add depth to traditionally animated scenes by separating each element into different levels of focus.

I definitely also like to think of them relaxing into it after awhile, stabilized and held in place. A totodile would be quite a cute fountain, constantly spewing water~

That's exactly what I am thinking of. Admittedly having that sort of ideas for a long time already. Not sure if you recalled but I once asked you if you might include Pokémon at some point. Would be lovely to get something from you. Story or drawing, in regards of that, I'd feel lucky to see my mascot getting into some amusing shenanigans like that. you've done in the past with MLP characters if it's as fun as here. ^_^
You got that definitely right also. My mascot Shiny the Totodile ( reference here ) is somebody who would likely happily volunteer if an artsy Smeargle would enjoy creating a nice water fountian like that. Even if they gave something that would help Shiny to keep on spouting water easier or asked Shiny to attach a valve and hose to the underside of his tail, it would be just the same toony fun Shiny is already used to from the Inflation shenanigans he's been in before.

Hehe, a Totodile playing water fountain could of course look like this but I assume it wouldn't actually be waht any artist would look for. Likely more the energetically dancing that he's also great at or he might throw a ballet pose kinda like:

If Shiny were to keep his headphones and whatnot, he could always just listen to the radio or his playlist whenever he feels like or if he'd want to, he could just doze off and take a nap. Whether in a clear mold like here or something different, Shiny likely would find most artsy ideas fancy.
Another idea that I found fun outside the fountain idea would be that of a trophy. Shiny would likely feel happy to be on display decorated in gold, silver, perhaps crystal given that's the generation of Pokémon he comes from, tehehe. The main thing is, he'd be likely more optimistic than most in such a situation and just treat it with joy. X3

That's actually normal at some public pools. The only folks coming there are the ones occasionally checking the state of the water on certain days and people can come and go like at a public sports field and track. People use such places at their own risk.
