It's quite possible this is on Dr. Handling's bug list, of course
Slightly late owing to various real-life things. I could have uploaded the mostly-done version last night but since it just needed the wings and gloves etc. I figured I'd hold fire and upload it today instead.
This is one of my favourite chapters, partly because of this scene.
There was a bit of soul-searching as to whether Ashley should be wearing shiny lab gloves or not. I went with slightly shiny like with Dr. Fuller in the end.

Yeah, as I recall, they've been technically aware of it, but it was a little far down the "to fix" list because of some...miscommunication and mismanagement. Unless there's a different security hole being referenced. If anything, it feels like Fa'rana clan has sort of been its own worst enemy of their own plot.
When I originally wrote this I assumed that they didn't know about the upcoming issue. However, while I was colouring the page it occurred to me that Fuller and Handling probably did know about this, but didn't think it mattered since the androids were clearly not production-ready.
