I figured that since Med-Night is a shapeshifter, I had to take advantage of this meme. ^_^ Although I also wanted to pick a few more unusual animals as well as just some of my general favorites.

The main one is of course the Eastern dragon here for mythical creatures. It was sooooo tempting to do a kirin though. I might draw that one later. This one was fun though. I wanted to do it very traditional styled, even with the weird legs. I loved the challenge of drawing it's twisty body! I should draw Eastern dragons more often!

And the one at the bottom right actually is there on purpose. XP It's for the non-animal category. I choose a basketball partly because I like basketball but also because, well, they have stripes on them. XP
