Tired of this yet? Don't worry, this is the last one. XP

This is part of my art for the species meme: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2386983/ (extended version). While the inks are in different files, the completed piece will most likely just be put up as one file (possibly multiple files, although in that case they will be put in scraps).

I figured that since Med-Night is a shapeshifter, I had to take advantage of this meme. ^_^ Although I also wanted to pick a few more unusual animals as well as just some of my general favorites.

We have the plesiosaur represent the dinosaur category at the top. (To which, I think it would have been better to do extinct, but oh well.) As you can tell by the miniature fish, I was having some fun with that one. haha. I also wanted to make it clear how massive this thing was. I mean, it was a freakin' dinosaur!

In the middle we have a flying fox for "other mammal." Yes, there are plenty of mammals and I have multiple bat characters. (My main two are a fruit bat and a fruit/vampire bat mix although I do have one flying fox character as a back ground character in their story.) My excuse? Bats rule. :p So we have a flying fox.

And the bottom is a dragonfly for the random category, hovering next to a daisy. This was a challenging one because I kept trying to add details to it. I figured that the random should be an insect since I hadn't done anything like that yet and I happen to like dragonflys a lot. (Again, caught and played with them as a kid. See a trend? hehe.)

And that's it folks. Now to get these puppies colored, shrunk, and stuck on the meme. ^_^
