This is actually a scene from a rp me and Norv did that's part of our DnD setting. Taru, the house cat catfolk in the front of the picture, went to visit the homebase on an enemy team in a tournament. It was the night before finals and she was hoping to gather information about an unbeatable team of "monsters" that they were to face. Since this other team had faced them, she was hoping to gather information from them. Even if that meant seeing Gorfiend, a lion catfolk who has been bluntly hitting on Taru since they first met. And what do you know, everyone went to spy on another team except Gorfiend. However, he wished to help Taru defeat the ones that dishonored him and his tribe. She followed him (rather nervously) into his tent where he gave her a song from his old tribe, a battle song that is sad to make fighters stronger. He watched with pride and content as she looked over his tribes history skins and memorized the melody. However, the soft grin on his maw hinted at other thoughts that crept in the lion's mind.

This was both a very fun picture and incredibly difficult to draw. For one thing, so many lines were on the page it was hard to tell at first what needed to be inked and what didn't. >_< Just trying to encompass all that's going on into one picture. And don't get me started on the lion's battle harness and the tent. That said, I'm really happy with the results. I wish that Gorefiend was more muscular (he's suppose to be a bit of a brute) but that'll come with practice. Either way, Taru turned out well.
