Oh boy, another Gunpla post!

Originally pre-ordered in December '21 from HobbyLink Japan, released on 8/9/22, and delivered on 8/11/22, this specific kit has changed the game yet again for the Real Grade line. After building the HGIBO Gundam Gremory back in November '21, Bandai Spirits announced a new RG kit, and it was none other than the God Gundam. I immediately placed an order for it and was excited to see it come in June, but then it was pushed to August for undisclosed reasons, but am happy to have it nonetheless! The last rendition of this suit came out back in October '19 in the form of the High-Resolution model, which while nice, has a bunch of issues with its overall build, and the older 2010 HG version, which still holds up to this day, has its own issues, both fixed with the RG. As always, here's the list of items used to make this kit stand out:

GSI Creos: Gundam Marker Airbrush System, Gundam Markers (EX Royal Metallic Red, EX Shine Silver, EX Heavy Gun Metallic, EX Luminous Metallic Green, EX Cosmo Meta Blue, EX Yellow Gold, and EX White Gold), Gundam Marker Brush-Type Panel Liner, & Gundam Marker Gloss Clear.

Master Model: C-16B Mini Airbrush Compressor w/ 6 ft. Braided Air Hose.

Tamiya items: 6mm Masking Tape (used for masking off certain areas for painting).

Delpi Decal: RG God Gundam Holographic Waterslide Decals & one red jewel sticker that was used to replace the Energy Multiplier clear part after it was lost.

Amazon/Dr. Mode: Nano-particle Glass filers.

This kit taken around 38-45 hours to complete, but was a very fun experience to build, paint, and decal up.

Fun facts about the GF13-017NJII God Gundam: This specific suit was piloted by Domon Kashu in the 1994 series, Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Designed to be used in the 13th Gundam Fight and represented by Neo Japan, it is the successor to the GF13-017NJ Shining Gundam and was originally planned to be used for the Gundam Fight Finals, however it was activated early as a result of the Shining Gundam being nearly destroyed by Master Asia's Master Gundam, and was combat ready after transferring the battle data from the Shining Gundam to the God Gundam. This new suit would later win the finals and be given the title "Gundam of Gundams", then would be used to ultimately defeat the Devil Gundam in a final fight to restore peace and to rescue Rain Mikamura. Like the Shining Gundam, this suit has a wide variety of physical attacks and even a few energy attacks, such as the Sekiha Tenkyouken and Bakunetsu God Finger.
