A fun scenario as is, but I think it’s better if a little extra zest is added to it. I’ve heard of stories where dragons could smell greed and the like, so…maybe this one can sense capacity for gluttony? He doesn’t just nab anyone to turn into a living, quivering mass of a trophy; he seeks out people who he can sense would enjoy it.
