Well, this picture didn't turn out ANYthing like it was supposed to... It was going to be a female otter laying on a beach, draped in a fish net. Somehow it took on a life of its own and became a female otter hunting, dressed in fish net.
Not to say that I don't like the way it came out. ;) And yes, I will be coloring this soon.

Mmmmmm. lovely wet fur. Well made artwork and I love furs underwater. Thank you for sharing.
One point though, and you are far from the only artist to do this and I was totally shocked when I actually got up close to an otter in RL. They have flat tails. Yup, they do indeed much like a beaver only the otter's is long and narrow. I guess it has become iconic in the furry fandom and artistic shorthand to give them a snake tail.
Still makes for a lovely picture and I don't expect a biology lesson in my furry pr0n and cheesecake but I figgered ya might like to know. :P

Actually the tail I drew was based off of the many reference photos I found online. Many many reference photos. It's not a snake tail, but it is a long flexible tapering tail, as shown in all the photos I've looked at.
Maybe you were looking at a different type of otter?

Aha, found out what the confusion was:

River otters' tails taper, giant otters have flat tails.
