A somewhat more recent endevour. I think it was made a little before Evolution, found here.

I made it after learning Body Electric by Rush, so the chords for this are more or less borrowed from that. This one also doesn't have any synths, as much of my more recent projects do.

I have something of a solo tracked out in pieces and very badly in the project file, just so I wouldn't forget it, but it's far from complete so I didn't put it in when I mixed this down.

There's also a few bass mistakes, but I hadn't recorded the final take for that. This is actually really fun to play along on the bass, and I often pull it up to do just that. The tone for the bass is also something I hadn't dialed in yet, so it doesn't fit all that well or sound very clear.

This is one I will actually finish at some point, as I like it and I can see the band I'm forming maybe playing this.

I should also add that I really like the solo section and it's bass line, what with it's alternate bass notes n all. Really need to get that solo in there.

Other than that, I don't know what I'd compare it to, other than my obsession with Rush. I seem to recall  triggerhare saying that a particular drum fill/chord progression, (I think going into the chorus), reminded him of a fill/progression from Tom Saywer. There goes my subconscious need to be Rush again. Curses. Curses...or...blessings?
