Colby is willing to sacrifice everything to defend the one he loves. He'll protect her at all costs, even if it means risking his own life.

You can't see it due to the angle, but imagine there's a Luxio staring down those two. Colby, the Buizel, just found his mate under attack by that Luxio and is now guarding her with his life. That Luxio is one major jerk. ;-;

This is actually the cover art for an earlier chapter of Fleeting Friendship (Chapter 9) that I intentionally did not upload until now because it's just pretty hard to look at, I guess. ^^;

However, despite the painful scene, I'm actually very pleased with how it turned out. There's a lot of detail, the lines look good compared to my usual rough look, the blood could be better (I'm bad with that ^^;) but it could also be worse, and, well, yeah. I like the background for the most part, too. ^^;

I hope to keep practicing to make this look like nothing more than a mere sketch in the future, but, for now, it's one of my better works. :3
