My Sandals In 3D [1/2]
These sandals are technically the first ever 3D model I made completely from scratch. They're not perfect but I think they turned out alright. I could certainly add a little more detail by adding surface imperfections and such but that's for another time.
I haven't been posting a whole lot, since working on 3D models basically swallows up all of my free time. That stuff takes forever to make (especially if you're new to it). So I apologize for this, however I am gonna upload at least one new drawing on the weekend. Luckily I have a three day weekend because of a holiday, so that's nice :3
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new dimension that I've added to my sandals ;P

Heyy, congratulations on ocmpleting your first ever 3D model from zero :) You know, for being your first ever, this one actually came out really good!
And yeahhhh, I can totally relate you there about 3D modeling, it certainly takes up longer to make than a drawing ^_^; The exact same thing happens to me, whenever I start modeling something new in 3D, my posts will just halt too for an extended period of time.

Yeah, I suppose it kinda depends too on your current skill at modeling, and also how much of a perfectionist you are (I'm pretty perfectionist so I can take a while in my own projects), but 3D modeling can still be pretty time-consuming, especially when you make stuff from zero ^^;
When making a character or scenario from zero, I usually have to halt other projects for a long time ^^;
