Jacques and Innis from one of the recent stories I posted, Acceptance and Desire. Yes, they are both male in this (and in the story), but if you'd rather pretend you're seeing a female Buizel or Grovyle, well, be my guest I guess. XD
I'm really pleased with how this turned out, to be honest! :O I finally got my tablet workable again, so I wanted to give it a whirl drawing something a little nicer-looking. I'm experimenting with different brushes and techniques, too; I'll try to gradually make the lines look a lot less clunky in my drawings and make the shading look pretty sweet like this.
Yeah, I really want to make this piece of art look pretty lousy compared to my art at the end of 2011...! But, for now, I'm actually really proud of it. |3 Plus Grovyle is very sexy haha.

You know, I was actually looking at it very carefully and comparing it to literally everything else I've drawn in 2010 and... I think I agree. :o There's very little I would want to change in this. It's definitely one of the better representations of my art, but after looking through some of the other art, I'd say it is probably on the top hehe. At least quality-wise.

I just finished reading it a minute ago... *^..^* You're very right; it's totally up my alley! Very sweet, and with that lovely lighthearted style you tend to write in... First-person for Jacques was an interesting idea, and I liked the internal monologue that brought as well.
As I tend to feel with many of your stories... I hope there might be a part 2 sometime, because I'd love to see the relationship continue to blossom between Jacques and Innis. ^..^
(The fact I've been playing the heck out of my copy of Explorers of Sky has made me love Grovyles even more as well! ;3 )

Aww, hehe, well glad that you enjoyed it after all.
It would definitely be good to see this continue somehow. Not sure if I ever will or whatnot, but at least the story turned out to be relatively popular, and it is at least open-ended. ^^;
And oh god, yes, yes yes yes, that Grovyle is the sexiest one out there (even more than Innis, hehe). He's one of those (relatively few) Pokemon I am without a doubt totally gay for, haha. <3
