A young assassin starts a new chapter in her life upon unwittingly being accepted into the ranks of an elite corporation. This is a short backstory commission for Watercow from ToyHouse.

Assassin in the Making

Cici stands against a tree, checking out the strange card she has just picked up. The card appears to be a normal playing card from a typical deck, but with a space theme on the back. Displayed in the front is a 4 of Diamonds. But who would own such a card?

While looking the card over, Cici attempts to think back to when she had been given this card. It felt like only a couple of days ago when she had just taken down a target she was assigned to wipe off the map. It was another one of those assignments she had; she was just following orders. And moments later after that, a young lad clad in a black suit appears minutes later; he seems to be in his early twenties. The card that Cici is inspecting right now is the card that was given to her.

"Weird… it's strange for a card like this to belong to a certain organization. Still, I don't know why they're giving this to me though." Cici wondered. After spending a few more minutes inspecting the card, the young girl finally makes her mind up.

Raising herself off against a tree, Cici decides, "Maybe I will go check them out. Hopefully, they're not too shady." Pocketing the card until further notice, Cici proceeds to leave the area, departing until another convenient time. Little did she realize how much her life would change once she actually got around to inspecting the corporation and becoming part of it.
