In the middle of the city, it was a normal average day. The morning started with children walking to school, adults heading to work, and anyone fortunate to have a day off laid in their beds. A few commuters in the middle of a small street were drinking coffee at your local Starbugs. Until, they started to ripple after a rhythmic thump shook through the ground.
THOMP THOMP
It was shallow. At first.
The everyday commuters dismiss the disturbance as the sound of local construction. Continuing with their casual conversation, pursuing the actions of their day. That was until the ripples continued, the booming was louder and more intense.
THOMP THOMP
It continued again, and again. The commuters stopped ans searched the streets to find the source of the disturbance. A tour coach stopped in its tracks, whilst daily travelers vacated their vehicles. All searching the interconnecting streets for the source. That was when they saw him.
They gasped.
A large white furred paw crashed down behind a small apartment building, with a small pair of blue jeans covering it as it marched forward. Taking, just a step. A tiny swoosh filled the fair as the colossal foot-paw was met with another as it crashed down in front of the other. It was a giant white furred wolf, with large blue pupils. Both concentrated on the townsfolk below. Whilst, ears like satellites picked up the hesitant muttering around the tiny furs.
The colossal wolf was about to open his maw slightly, only to met by screams from the furs below. All of them picking up on their fight or flight instincts. Running away.
“P-P...Please...d-d...don’t run” the colossal wolf whimpered.
“I...I won’t hurt you, I promise. I’m Lupus” the wolf waved his paw slightly, whilst his large blue pupils focused upon the little ones that lurked below.
“I...I just wanted to say hello, and was hoping if I could be friends with you all”.
