Maria certainly does seem to give it her all, though naturally is kind of forced to hold back quite a bit. Understandably enough it takes a lot more skill to try and grab something and hold it without doing any harm. But she’s too predictable in her motions. She reacts to my actions and tries to guess where I’m going to be but I can see the glow in her paw as she’s about to try and grab me and I can simply dash in a different direction and throw her off completely. And to further illustrate the fact this leaves openings after one such attempt I actually dash right behind her and give one of her tails a little nip. Not intended at all on actually doing any harm as I make sure to only bite at fur and don’t tug so as to not even pull anything out. But it’ll make sure she’s aware that I was able to score a hit. I then dash away before she can retaliate, laughing all the while. I have to admit this kind of training is a lot of fun. Nothing really on the line and I’m able to take these legs as fast as I’m able without needing to put any regard to anything else for the time being.
