I take a tentative little hop in place, not so much to get myself on the ready as I am to see how well secured the harness is. If it’ll jostle around then we may need to take it off first else it’ll really start to chafe or potentially damage something. But it feels tight enough. I can feel some things shifting around in the pockets, but nothing severe. Giving it a bit of further test I put on a bit of speed to dash right behind Maria and give her a little poke with my nose. I can hear a noise coming from the bags as they bump against each other but they still seem quite secure and won’t likely cause any real issue other than alert my position, which is fine enough. This is training, after all. Might as well give myself a handicap at the start. Maria quickly turns around and faces me.

“Boop!” I say in a high-pitched voice before turning around and bapping her nose with one of my tails before dashing away.

“I’ll get you for that!” Maria laughs for a moment before pulling her hand away from her medal and aiming it in my direction.
