Pokétitan: Terren the Mudsdale

Terren is a hardworking Mudsdale with a heart of gold. He is a construction Pokemon that was partnered with an old man, now reaching the final years of his life. The old man relied on Terren a lot, sometimes Terren even had to take care of his trainer from time to time because he had no living family left.

When Arthur and his team come into the town, they save the town from Team Rocket who was forcing the old man and his construction crew to build them a new base. After being saved by Titan and the rest, the old man sees the good in Arthur (who just started his journey at 10 years old). Arthur reminded the old man of himself when he was that age. After some time he asks Arthur if he can take Terren on his journey. Terren at first Protests but the old man affirms to him that he should live out his dream of seeing the world instead of being cooped up in town with him.

Terren eventually let's up, giving his former partner a fond farewell and sets out with Arthur. Eager to begin the next chapter of his life. Later that night after Arthur had gone to sleep, Titan takes Terren aside and gives him one of the mutated Team Rocket berries he held onto. Allowing him to speak to humans as well as sizeshift whenever and whatever he wants. The ability to grow and shrink is an ability that Titan has given all the members of Arthur's team by giving them the berries to eat. Terren will be perfectly content with his new life as a rising star in the regional gym challenge Arthur has taken up and the team cook. Cooking has become something of a passion for Terren since he had to take care of his former trainer and over the years he has greatly expanded his culinary knowledge.

A little while after the team had set up camp in the middle of the woods and Arthur and the others went to sleep, Terren poked his eyes open and made his way back outside next to the campfire. Once Terren relit the fire he got to work, wanting to surprise everyone with a massive spread of food in the morning. After a few hours of working he managed to make a humongous pot of hearty chili, several pastries, fresh breads, and freshly squeezed juice. Terren sat back, pleased with the labors of his hard work, Just in time for the rest of the team to wake up. All of them overjoyed to see what Terren had done for them, Arthur even running up to give him a big hug. Terren chuckled as he felt his small trainer dangling around his leg, as that was all he could reach. Terren chuckled at the display and gave him a nuzzle, before leading him over to where the others were eating.

After they were finished, Arthur, Titan, and the others began to pack up camp so they can continue heading onto the next gym. Though Terren noticed that they still had plenty of leftover chili. He frowned, seeing that they had no room left to carry it. He certainly didn't want to waste it either. As Arthur and the others began to head out Terren called out to them and said to go on ahead, he'll catch up. The others looked confused at his request but they nevertheless listened. After Terren saw they were out of sight he took the leftover pot of chili in his mouth and began to grow. First surpassing the size of the trees, then the hills, then mountains, and eventually even the clouds themselves. Down below on the ground Arthur in his team had their mouths on the ground in awe as they saw the giga sized Mudsdale effortlessly step over them, clearing hundreds of miles with a single step.

"So that's what this feels like from down here," Titan thought as he watched Terren walk away, the ground shaking as the titanic draft horse Pokemon walked.

Terren looked around at the tiny world with a pleased look. He was happy that his friends enjoyed his food, and since there was extras, why not share it with others? How about a town? No that wasn't enough. A city? Terren snorted, he was still thinking too small. Surely he could do better. How about the entire region? Terren smiled, "Perfect," he thought. There were plenty of hungry mouths in the region that could use a big bowl of chili to warm themselves up.

"Come one, come all! Get your hearty chilly here!" Terren boomed, his deep voice shaking the entire land "There's plenty to go around for everyone!"

He stopped by the nearest city and kneeled down, the speck sized humans and Pokemon all looked skywards at the giant awestruck as Terren lowered the colossal pot down onto the ground gently and began to dish it out to the city residents with a smile.

"Eat up little guys. There's nothing like a nice bowl of chili to start the day with," Terren thundered with a smile. The city residents all cheered for the gigantic Mudsdale as they were all served. And once they had all eaten their fill, Terren moved onto the next city, and the next, and continued on after that until he had fed the entire region. He even had time to pay a surprise visit to his old trainer. Once he had finished feeding the entire region's populace, Terren stood tall with a proud look on his face.

"Glad that all worked out," he said with a happy smile, looking down at the now empty pot of chili. He took it back up in his mouth and looked around as he lifted his gargantuan hoof and setting it back down on the ground. The region trembled as the enormous Mudsdale made his way back to his tiny trainer and friends. Happy to have made the day for so many people and Pokemon.

Personality

Terren can best be described as a humongous, lovable dork. As a draft horse Pokemon he is already quite large and can easily be mistaken for an alpha though he is not. Terren is quite is known for being extremely friendly, a trait carried over from when he was a construction Pokemon at his old town. Always keeping friendly and lively company. And this carried over to his travels when he began his journey with Arthur. He is also a wonderful cook and is always looking for ways to expand his culinary knowledge. From curry dishes originating from Galar to regular Kanto favorites, you better believe he’ll be able to whip up something delicious. Terren has a good natured heart always and he heavily believes that no one should go hungry, because when Team Rocket occupied his hometown they would withhold food from the townspeople until they all chipped in to build them a new base. So that is why, whenever he goes to make food he always grows the ingredients so he can make large and extra portions. Once everyone on the team has eaten their fill, this caring horse will then grow himself into a giant, enlarge the remaining food, and set out to feed the entire region. This is something that Terren is extremely passionate about and is always happy to serve a meal to the tiny people of the region with a smile. He’s happy to be a massive figure in their lives and put a smile on their faces.
