Looks like the left picture of an "expectation vs reality" thing. :3
Those wings never look like that when you buy the costume. x)
And the clothes never fit that well. :3

Haha XD thanks!
I made wings that looked similar to this for a costume once. The only issue I had was getting them to sit up (was trying avoid using metal wire). I feel like I might be able to fix them up to sit proper now though with my added experience.
