Adele started off as a talented mixed-martial-arts champion, obfuscating her keen eyes and quick thinking behind her sassy persona. In her tournament circles, she could read her opponents more easily than anyone else, but her life would change forever during an otherwise ordinary match. Adele saw that a seemingly unremarkable member of the audience appeared to know her every move and tactic before she employed them.

Intrigued, Adele tried to follow this person after her match, eventually finding herself at the lakeside domicile of this unassuming martial arts master. Knocking on the door, she introduced herself as the master's newest apprentice!

Thoroughly uninterested, the resident sent her away, telling Adele to come back when she completed a special task (really, the first random thing that popped into her head) to prove her worthiness: Adele would need to visit the Ceremonial Testing Grounds of Bah-Whek-Po and come back with a blue-tailed halcon's feather and without a curse.

And that is how, seventeen days later, Hale Irrah got herself her first ever student.

This is a reference for the attire Adele usually does anything physical in, complete with wraps, pads, gloves, and multiple sports bras (because they're necessary!).
