Laredo is an artificial gargoyle called a War-Gargoyle created from stone. War-Gargoyles are kinda... unstable genetic wise as its really unclear what animals are in them.

Under a special moon all wolves all turn into beastly werewolves that terrorized the night eating meats and blocking roads. They're essentially become primal animals with no control to the beast within....UNLESS they're a hybrid.
