The moment that pokemon is withdrawn I know that it was their last one. All of the other Rocket members step further away as I can feel the compulsion start to take effect. I mentally try and resist the compulsion as much as I can, trying to convince that side of me that the fight is not yet done as there are clearly still more opponents to fight. It gets to the point that I find myself rooted in place trying to resist the urge to close the distance, knowing full well that doing so would be walking into a trap. It would be impossible to dodge an attack when it takes over and I’m leaving myself vulnerable to attacks by just resisting. Thankfully enough neither of my opponents seem to be trying to get in my way and are in fact giving me a nice easy path to take.

The moment she takes a step away from me I lose any control I have and the next instant I know of my mouth is clamped around the arm of the woman. And we both know what this bite means, both in regards to what she’ll have to deal with as well as what’s likely in store for me. At least I don’t have to tell them what their situation is.
