What a difference less than a decade and 4 years of art school will make! This is from 1989, done specifically for Rowrbrazzle #22. The Geraldo Ratvera character was someone I used a few times in Rowrbrazzle, since his show was popular at the time. In addition to my characters (I guess it says something that I had 3 characters that qualified for this!), there is the late Chuck Melville's character The Murk,  Frenata's Fitch the pine marten, Percy the Virgin from a very odd comic by Steve Martin and Terrie Smith (she did the art, which was great. The story, by Martin, didn't make a lot of sense and was kind of creepy. Like a lot of things, it was never finished)  Karno's Savage Squirrel, and the late Greg Bear's Gulo the wolverine.

The inks on this were by Noah Miller. At the time this was done both my really long epic Jet, 2350 (done in the mid-80's) and Escape to New York were both running in Rowrbrazzle. All the other characters here were also in comics appearing in the 'zine. Unfortunately I had to sell most of my issues during a period of extreme poverty, so any Rowrbrazzle-specific pieces are probably lost to the ages, unless I unexpectedly come across it again like I did with this one.
