Proofreader? I dunno, I suppose I could if he wanted another person to do that. He was just kind enough to send me what he'd written on it.

Ohhhh, okay. I just have a super-pedantic eye for grammar and spelling errors, they just seem to jump out at me, so I decided to use my powers for awesome and proofread Alex's stuff, and he graciously allows me to.

I'm guessing you read a whole lot then? I think that sort of thing happens when a person read a ton, and get spelling pretty much drilled into their heads.

Hell yes. I've read for as long as I can remember; I literally cannot remember a time when I did not know how to read.

It kind of becomes a part of you after so long. Reading was my only form of recreation for years and years, until I started playing video games and then discovered the Internet. The Internet being largely comprised of text, it still counts as reading, but I don't read as many books per unit time as I used to, though my pure text speed is still tops. When proofreading, though, I tend to take it slower, only reading as fast as I would speak, so I'm sure to catch stuff.

I generally have to read something twice to catch _any_ typos at all, or at least I do when the story is good enough. The first time through all I'm focusing on is the story, and what's taking place. And then I read it again, and that's when the typos jump out.

Ooh, getting goosebumps. Hope we don't have to wait long.

It'll be a while. Possibly a month. But Well Worth the wait.

I did too, but Rodriguez has experience doing kids movies, and he kicks ass with visuals. Maybe Tarantino can be a guest director like on Sin City.

Umm, corect me if I'm wrong, but I think just the opening scene alone, would put this _way_ past a kids movie.

If you're going by MPAA standards, sure. But a lot of great young adult literature has dealt head-on with some pretty extreme stuff. If this was made into a movie and kids saw it, they'd sure as hell remember it forever and _learn_ from it.

...And thousands of kids would have nightmares like nothing before. As well, reading something in a book is one thing, seeing it on screen quite another. Still, it has plenty of things that kids could learn from it. Accepting those with differences as probably the most obvious.

And, as the climax will make clear, another main moral of the story is that we all have the strength within us to stop people who hurt us and to escape from situations that cause us pain. That's something I think people in this country need to hear desperately.
