...who are you people, and where have you hidden my watchers?
I mean, seriously. Well over 100 comments, and only 1, maybe 2 pictures that were adult in nature. Even those were mostly tasteful. I was expecting a majority of smut here, but hey, this was probably better practice anyway. x3
So, most of the pictures I got linked ended up not being the best for anatomy practice, which was my original intent. They were either too small or too heavily clothed or just didn't work out. So instead I decided to use them as figure sketching practice instead, of a sort... instead of worrying about getting details and anatomy spot on, I focused on getting the "feel" of the poses more or less right. Which might sound like a massive cop out, but trust me, that's a very important skill.
So, here we have the first round of sketches, I did this morning after waking up. All canines for now, as I'm going to do a species-specific study in a bit, but not for these. Lot of very different poses than normal, but I'm happy with most of them. I know most of you won't care much about seeing this... but a few of you sketch fans out there should hopefully enjoy!

Well, if nothing else it's a good way to break into new poses and ideas at a fast rate. A fully completed picture can teach more per picture sure, but it can take five or ten hours to do each one... doing super rough sketches like this lets me play with all kinds of new poses and angles in just a few minutes, which I think is a good way to go :P
Love the look of the top right, though I think the raised arm should be a little further forward near the elbow. I also quite like the couple on the bottom right, it makes me think you should try more of those black and white era movie romance poses. They don't lend much to porn, but they can translate well into mature works. http://www.filmsite.org/filmkisses3.html
Well, it's somewhat easy to do a decent job when you're looking directly off a reference photo, in my opinion :P The real trick is being able to learn enough from doing so that you can also draw without a reference picture. I almost never use references myself, but I think my anatomy has suffered for it a fair amount. At some point I'll actually have to try closely using a reference picture and actually make a completed image with it. Someday :P
About the only time I can manage with no ref is if I was drawing something (I consider) a lot easier, like a mechanical drawing of something. Although for what I'm going to college for, that is a good thing. And someday I need to actually get myself to sit down and try again with organic things!
