One year ago, after a lot of getting closer and closer, I decided to open up about my feelings.
There was hesitance at first, but as it turned out, this was probably one of the best decisions of my life.
A lot of bullying, a lot of hugging, a few trips to the other, and love is still going strong. Through thick and thin, we've helped each other through tough episodes.
Top two portraits come from pictures taken at landmarks we visited together. Bottom row is a sort of "time progression" - shy around the other, then accepting to love the other, all the way into "rough love" - of which I wouldn't have any other way.
I cook a lot, and he likes eating a lot. He actually does hug me like this when I cook - especially if he's hungry for chili and waiting for me to serve xD
This was a little heartfelt piece I had to commission from
