Wulf Mountain p13

Sorry this page is a day late, but hey, its New Years, and this page is in color too! Isn't it handsome? I didn't think that the breakfast scene was really much, in terms of showing scale of the NUMBER of wulves in the mountain. Perhaps the big temple and the busy marketplace will help? Not sure. Like I've said before, the main focus of this comic is for me to learn to draw backgrounds and scenery well enough to craft a world, and put a story in it... rather than have a good story, with no world for it to take place in. That was my main mistake in my last two comics...
That aside this was done with standard crayola markers, on printer paper. Nothing fancy. But, I really do think that it turned out handsomely, and the page as a whole, I'm VERY proud of. I hope you guys like it even half as well as I do. :)
I don't want the comic to turn TOO religious, since "Wulf and his Mate" are mentioned on almost every page, but the context fits. Early cultures were very God-oriented, and earlier ones had multiple gods that they worshipped. So, the wulfish culture has two gods, to keep it from seeming "too European", but to also distance is from a "pantheon" style religion base. A male god and a female god seemed simple and relevant for a culture like this to have. Yes, it leads to general sexism and sexist events/dialogue, but that's not the point of this comic. Perhaps I'm looking too far into this... oh well, haha!
PLEASE COMMENT if you have a moment!

First off, the prologue really drew me in. Your art has really improved and it is pretty clear throughout what is going on. I am thinking right now it is just too wordy since it is in the beginning, so people don't want to read. Sad but true. I am really loving it so far. the color is great too! And the story is definitely interesting.
you'll probably kill me for this but, I liked the first pages better ^^; because I loved the way you shaded them; and I was always a fan of black and white comics.
but the rhythm of the pages and details are very good. it's easy to see that you enjoy what you're doing :3
