This seems like a big change in style since the last Mochi pic. Got tired of doing it the old way? :O

It's just that it looks different. I was also wondering if it was a purposeful stylistic choice or just the direction your art's going.

I think it's the direction my art is going. I admit to changing the markings a tad bit compared to the image you posted. Also, I did ink the two pieces with a different technique for each. I do tend to try to mix up styles from time to time rather than stick to just one. It depends on how much time I had or how creative I'm feeling.

Sorry, the little muzzle and poofy hair combo isn't doing it for me. Too "generic furry."

In less words, I too prefer the larger muzzle. It just seems to 'fit' better. ^^

Also, I was trying to make the muzzle smaller on purpose so that it was more 'fox-like' but do you think it's just a tad too small to say that?

I think the shape is okay, though it does just make the head seem too large, and the lack of a low jawline makes the neck look too long. MilesDF has a similar problem with this, even though he's a pretty good artist.

Sorry to just come out of the blue, but this new style does look a bit weird. A few little proportion changes without changing the shapes would help.

But then, I'm a sucker for wild expressions, and that's more difficult to do with a short muzzle with a low nose. I might just be biased.

I see what you mean by the jaw line and long neck, and I have noticed it in Miles' work too. Hmm. Something for me to look out for. Again, thank you for sharing this. She looks great as usual. :) Nice work with the attention to detail on her hands a feet, though personally, her muzzle/snout could be a little longer to help show a true foxy face shape. But its still great either way. :)
