‘In the latest chapter of his family’s sprawling history, Faris Djinn had caught wind of a supposed genie lamp found in Istanbird, deep in the dark dens of the ‘Spice-A-Torium’. Teeming with villains of all sorts, Djinn expected to fight his way in and gain his prize. However, by power of his reputation (as well as quite excellent story-telling skills), he was able to gain the lamp without any trouble. With it, lay the hopes that it might be some lost family relic, to find other genies such as his great ancestor. Alas, there would be no genie, but there was some magic left in the lamp when Djinn attempted to examine it and the wrong brush of a sleeve upon its surface, activated that remaining spark…and since Faris Djinn himself was part genie (despite a dilution brought on by many generations), the spark resonated with those genie genes (heh), and it seems to be in the process of bringing the great warrior of the sands quite low…here’s hoping it stops soon, as he may already have a lot of trouble getting out of the Spice-A-Torium, much less Istanbird, going by the ‘interested’ looks of the patrons…’
