I'd never heard that, and according to Wiktionary "Cooch" is an American term as well. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/cooch
'cause if you think about it, there would have been several million Aussies smirking at Murray Ball's character "Cooch Windgrass" in Footrot Flats.
(The Aussie slang for it does start with 'C' but is only four letters).
