Background story for this water color painting :
The Great horned owl lost its chicks and shortly later found a Great tit chick that had fallen out of its nest. The owl adopted it and raised it until it was time to meet other birds of its own species.
Wanted to try out a greyscale painting with just one ( metallic ) color accents.
