I've always wanted to make my own dinosaur-themed supervillain, so I've created Professor Ankylo, a paleontologist who's a strong supporter of Darwin's theory of evolution, and became a humanoid Ankylosaurus due to years of experimentation. The reason why I chose an Ankylosaurus was because I wanted to use an underutilized dinosaur for him. Most dinosaur villains are mainly T. Rexes, Triceratopses, Pterodactyls, and Stegosauruses. So, I figured an Ankylosaurus would be a neat way to shake things up. ^^

Dislikes: People who don't agree with Darwin's theory, cold weather, track and field, people who don't stand still when he's trying to hit them with his tail (like Missy Zippy), seeing dinosaurs being treated as "kids' stuff," getting vegetables stuck in his teeth, tar, and hot dogs (he has no idea what's in them).

Powers & Abilities:
Thanks to the mutation, Professor Ankylo has the durability, strength, and power of an Ankylosaurus. He uses his club tail to smash through various structures, and his bony plated body can protect him from all sorts of blows, both from physical attacks like punches and kicks, and from weapons. He can also curl up into a nearly indestructible ball, and roll over his foes. He also maintains his scientific genius from his human days even in his new dinosaur form.

Bio:
When he was a young boy, Arnold Stonehitch was always fascinated with dinosaurs. He would play with dinosaur toys, watch movies about dinosaurs, and would always get excited about going to the museum on field trips or with his parents. His interest in dinosaurs was so great, he decided to study paleontology when he grew up, so after graduating from high school, he studied paleontology where he learned so much more about the beasts that once roamed Planet Earth than he already knew. He then graduated with a PhD in paleontology, and he was immediately sent on his first fossil dig: to uncover an ankylosaurus skeleton from Montana.
However, went he came back from the dig, his parents ignored his discoveries, and paid more attention to his sister, who was an Olympic gold medalist in track and field, placing first in the 500m dash. Arnold has always hated track and field, as when he was young, he was always dragged by his parents to his sister's track meets when he would rather be learning more about dinosaurs. Arnold especially hated it when it was cold out, as he would stand in the dry, cold air nearly freezing himself just so his family can support his sister. These experiences have made him very resentful towards both the sport and cold temperatures, and when he came home from his fossil dig, he decided to leave home, and moved to Miami, Florida, where it was much warmer. There, he worked at the local university, teaching paleontology to future paleontologists like him.
But most people didn't seem to agree with about Darwin's theory of evolution, and would even go so far as to label him as an "extremist" for believing in it. Something in Arnold's brain snapped, and he decided to prove the neigh sayers wrong by showing them that humans need to evolve as well. So, Arnold set up a device in his lab that allows him to merge human DNA with dinosaur DNA, with himself as the first test subject. Using the ankylosaurus fossil from his first dig, and started fusing his genes with the fossilized genes of the dinosaur. When the smoke cleared, Arnold was mutated into an anthropomorphic ankylosaurus, and he decided to use his newfound power to run amuck on the campus, attacking anyone who disagreed with him about Darwin's theory.
Heroes, Ltd. was eventually called in to deal with the rampage, and Arnold proved to be quite a challenge for the heroes. Even Gator Pete, their resident reptile, was having a hard time trying to deal with him. Luckily, they brought Missy Zippy with them, and she used her super speed to deal with him. He tried to stop her with his club tail, but she moved so quickly, he couldn't land a good hit on her. Eventually, Arnold was defeated, and the authorities arrived to take him to a maximum-security prison in Fort Lauderdale so he won't cause any more damage. He stayed there for four days until he was broken out by some VillainCo employees, and was taken to the main VillainCo building so Brother Grimskull can analyze him. After running a full background check on Arnold, Brother Grimskull offered him a position in the company, to which he accepted without hesitation. Now going by the name Professor Ankylo, he vows to get even with Missy Zippy for defeating him, and he hopes that VillainCo will give him enough money to fund his goal of turning the human race into the next step in evolution: by turning them into dinosaurs like him.

-Works very well with his fellow villains, despite the fact that some of them don't agree with his research

Weaknesses:
-High intelligence has made him boastful and arrogant
-Doesn't like cold temperatures, as his mutation made him cold-blooded
-Doesn't know much self-defense skills, often relying on dinosaur brute strength
-Becomes immobile when he's flipped on his back
-Isn't very quick or agile
-Is a bit too obsessive about dinosaurs
-Pretty insecure when it comes to family
