The official portrait of King Lobu VI within the very first months of his rule. On the left is the Royal Standard, only used when the monarch and/or their consort is present. On the right, the National Flag.
This monarch's reign (1862-1908) saw a smooth transition from the country on multiple fronts. First, Trailpin's monarchy switched from absolute to more constitutional. This, under Lobu's initiative, turned out to be a successful attempt at having the Crown gain popularity back among working people.
Speaking of working people, their conditions drastically increased under Lobu. Education, too, with more schools being built as well as becoming free for everyone. And so did the country's economy as well as influence on the diplomatic scene.
King Lobu VI was nicknamed "The Father of the People" in the second half of his reign after these changes properly settled into society.
