When I was a kid, my dad and grandpa remodeled the kitchen in the new house I moved into, and during that time, I created a persona called Dr. Screwdriver, where I had a screwdriver in my sleeve. So, for "Heroes, Ltd.," I created a new hero based on that goofy persona by making him a construction-themed hero with a prosthetic arm with, you guessed it, a screwdriver on it. ;) It's funny how you remember this kinda stuff as an adult, and decided to do something with it.
Name: Dr. Gregory Jacobson
Date of birth: October 9, 1979
Species: Human
Age: 43
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 184 lbs.
Occupation: Construction foreman, mechanics doctor, Heroes, Ltd. founding member

Likes: Building structures and machines, donuts, coffee, helping his fellow Heroes, Ltd. employees out, talking to people about their problems, listening to Beethoven, sunny days, enjoying the little things in life, solving problems, and kids
Dislikes: Losing his right arm at first, when his construction workers don't arrive to the sight on time, people who see others as worthless (like Lady Hood), peas (they get stuck in his teeth), heavy metal music (which is why he doesn't like Screech that much), his machines failing on him, and people calling him a "nerd."

Bio:
From a young age, Gregory Jacobson has always been fascinated by the world of construction. He has always enjoyed seeing structures coming together, and seeing the inner workings of machines. While this fascination of the construction world has gotten him bullied and called a "nerd" from most of the other kids, Gregory found a way to put it to good use, and went to college studying architecture. He eventually graduated with a PhD in architecture and mechanics, and he went to work as a construction worker for a big construction company, working on various construction projects all across the United States. As he was working, he discovered that he had a knack for creating interesting new structures that he believed would revolutionize the world of architecture completely. So, he worked hard on these new structures, which he eventually made into machines, and his work garnered the attention of his peers, and he moved on up in the construction world.
However, one day, while Gregory was working on his current construction project, a careless co-worker was lifting a steel bar when he lost his grip on the rope, and it fell on Gregory's right arm. The construction company got him to a hospital, and the damage to his arm was so severe, the surgeons had to amputate it completely. When Gregory asked if he'll be able to continue construction work again, the doctors said he would, but it won't be easy with just one arm. When he got out of the hospital, Gregory got to work on a new prosthetic arm to replace his amputated one instead of giving up entirely. He took one of his other projects that he was working on before the accident, and made a special prosthetic arm equipped with various construction tools to help him continue his construction work. Gregory then returned to a new construction project, and he started to use his new arm to make the project go along smoothly. The other construction workers and his boss were so impressed with his arm, he was promoted to foreman for future projects, and he was called in to foresee all projects as well as offering his services when need be.
Gregory and construction company was then called in by superhero American Eagle, who was thinking of opening a new company to employ superpowered beings to help out those in need, and inspire hope and trust in those with these special gifts, to build the main building in Orlando, Florida. They arrived at the site where American Eagle wanted the company to be built, and he and his crew immediately got to work on building it based on Gregory's specifications. He even helped shape the foundation for it with his prosthetic arm, and American Eagle was impressed with his building skills and his intelligence. The work went by like lightning, and one day, American Eagle decided to offer Gregory a job at the new company once it opened. Believing that he wasn't the superhero type, he turned down the offer originally, but after American Eagle told him that his arm could be used for more than just construction, he decided to join in once construction was finished. Once the building was finished, and Heroes, Ltd. was christened, Gregory became one of the founding members of the company under the name Dr. Screwdriver.
During his time at Heroes, Ltd., Dr. Screwdriver received combat training from American Eagle and was named the head of maintenance and machinery in the company, creating new weapons and gadgets for the company to use to battle criminals. His skills would be put to good use when he went with American Eagle and the other founding members, the Djinni, Arrowhead, and Gator Pete, to Washington, D.C. to stop Brother Grimskull and the rest of VillainCo from attacking the Capitol Building. Dr. Screwdriver believed that he was out of his league when it came to fighting supervillains, but American Eagle reminded him that it was his chance to use his building skills to help them out. So, he used his prosthetic arm to help the other heroes deal with the supervillains, and after their plan was thwarted, Dr. Screwdriver became a beloved member of Heroes, Ltd. He was even promoted by American Eagle to teach up and coming new superheroes so he can share his amazing intellect with the next generation.
Strengths:
-Very intelligent, especially when it comes to building and creating things
-Prosthetic arm is helpful in many situations
-His intelligence proved crucial in guiding up and coming superheroes
-Knows some combat training
-Skilled at getting his workers and fellow Heroes, Ltd. employees organized
-Focuses mainly on the little things in life, and not let the big things get in the way
-Prosthetic arm is very durable, and is hard to dismantle
Weaknesses:
-Has a tendency to bore people to sleep with his lectures
-Often relies on his prosthetic arm a bit too much
-Prosthetic arm becomes nearly useless if it breaks down or sustains water damage
-Not very fast and mobile (mostly to do his arm weighing him down a bit)
-Can be uptight whenever his workers don't show up on time
-Tends to be hard on himself whenever his machines fail on him
-Often gets nosy about his fellow Heroes, Ltd. employees' personal lives
Well, what do you think of Dr. Screwdriver, you guys?
