Here are 3 plant-creatures, all of them are related to each other with the one in the middle being the common ancestor. At first the creature would plant its legs and tail into the ground to get nutrients from the ground. That what the one on the right does too, so not much has changed there. The one the left can still kind of do that, only with it’s legs, but it also is a insectivore.
