It is a Mammal (a very small one at that too), and the crystals are green. The big crystal on it’s back will grow, fall off, then grow back ever 4 months. They can be kept as pets, but it should be known that they can chew through a lot of kinds of common metals, so it can be expensive to have them. They also love dirt, and it seem to be a relative of the shrew
