"Happy Valentine's Day, Joshy!" Bonnebelle wagged her tail as she tackle-hugged the canine.

Josh held the border collie up in his paws. "Happy Valentine's Day, Bon! I made dinner reservations for us!"

"So did I!" Bonnebelle giggled. "... Surprise?"

"No way, you did?" Josh laughed too.

"Which one do we go to?"

"Why not both?"

Bon blushed and held her tummy, swollen and pregnant. "The pups will certainly like that!"

"Me too!" Josh wagged his tail faster with excitement. "I'll eat what you don't."

"Let's go!"

First, they went to a sushi restaurant and ordered a large tray of different kinds of sushi and a plate of tempura chicken. Bonnebelle snacked on some chicken and ate a few pieces of sushi.

Josh polished off everything else, inhaling the chicken and chomping down every last piece of fresh sushi. He let out a burp and gave Bon a kiss.

Next, they went to Josh's reservation at a restaurant that specializes in gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.

Bonnebelle ate a breakfast grilled cheese sandwich and some fries. She fed Josh his fries and petted his belly while he struggled to finish his four layer grilled cheese sandwich. By then, his belly was bulging in his lap.

Then came dessert, a giant heart shaped cookie, decorated specially with their names on it. They fed each other a slice, tails wagging, and then Josh buried his muzzle in the cookie and gobbled up the rest. He chugged his soda and sat back with a heavy sigh.

Bonnebelle hummed and patted his belly. "Your tummy's bigger than mine now! That's a whole lotta love."

Josh leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek.

Bonnebelle giggled. "You got chocolate on me!"
