After being granted clearance to roam around their territory, a tribal chieftain and his wife allow a lone nomadic hyena to explore their land while also giving her a tour of the territory.

Tribal Tour

"You guys sure have a big territory to cover. It must be a lot of hard work for you guys." Commenting on their vast territory, Zoey is greatly astounded at the amount of land the River tribe has. It seems as though the tribe is the biggest in the land.

Juan giggles, "While that may be true with us having a large territory, it really isn't all that hard to maintain." Amelia gives him a pointed look, making Juan retract his original statement. "Okay, so it is hard to maintain; our territory is large, yes, but we have so few people."

Amelia insinuates, "While we do have a large territory, it's true that it is hard to maintain. Our village is not that big though. But our farmland is located next to a river, hence the tribe name."

"Well apart from our farmland and village, we have several different landmarks such as resource sheds, warrior tents, and a local tavern, even. We're still happy to show you around if you wish, Zoey."

"I can hardly wait." Zoey responds robustly. Still excited, the female hyena observes, "I would love to meet everyone here instead of being swatted away. Still, exploring doesn't hurt anyway."

Later on in the day, Juan and Amelia both changed into their original attires that were different; much more different and more basic, though they still retained the status of their rank.

Coming out of their respective tents, the two lions meet back up with Zoey so they can give her a tour of their territory.

"So, we've already shown you our farmlands and our leader's tent. Now it's time for the rest of your tour, Zoey." Amelia announced.

"I can't wait to see what else you guys have in store." Zoey mused, clapping her hands excitedly. She joins Amelia and Juan on the tour being given and is shown various parts of the territory.

Throughout the tour, the two leaders showed Zoey their storehouse along with other tents, such as the warrior camp, training camp, and a weapons shack. The village, however, is only half a mile away via walking distance.

During the journey, Zoey eagerly climbs Amelia's shoulders from behind, catching the lioness off-guard at first; she mellows out and pets the female hyena between her ears.

The arrival in the small village causes Zoey to squeak in curiosity, seeing how small it is. She even comments, "I never knew you guys had such a small village. Your territory is large but your village is small."

"We're still working on expanding our village to make up for it, though. It takes a lot of time and effort." Amelia sighed in discontent. Even she was wondering how she can expand their village, with Juan's help, of course.

"Try planning new types of structures, more buildings, or new housing. Try adding some variety to your village, like a tavern or something." Zoey suggested.

"Honestly, a tavern sounds like a good idea. It's just we never thought of it or considered having a tavern in our village." Juan rubs the back of his head while mentioning this, but when Amelia considers the offer, she drapes an arm around her husband, nuzzling him. She agrees with the hyena and her suggestion, "We can make that work! Just add in some extra volunteers and we should be able to make something out of it."

"Taverns, trade shops, traveling merchants, museums, you name it. But I believe museums don't exist within tribal communities. I've already seen the shops and tents you guys showed me. I'm just surprised you guys never had a tavern in your village." Zoey mused.

"You didn't forget the healer's tent, did you? That's an important spot for a community in case someone is sick or injured." Amelia reminded her. Zoey nods silently and begins to climb upon Amelia, wrapping her arms around the lioness. Amelia gives Zoey an inquisitive expression while holding her and while the hyena kicks her legs out softly, she points forward and exclaims, "Onward, to higher ground!"
